KOZHIKODE: A patient, who got stuck in an ambulance after its door could not be opened, died on Monday. Koyamon (66) of Feroke died after sustaining injuries in an accident. A scooter fatally knocked him down yesterday afternoon.

Seriously injured Koyamon was first taken to Govt Beach Hospital. He was being taken to the medical college in an ambulance and the door of it could not be opened.

He got stuck in the ambulance for half an hour. A doctor and two of his friends were there in the ambulance. He was later taken out after breaking it open with an axe. Though he was admitted in the casualty, his life could not be saved. Koyamon was a security guard at a firm in Cherooty Road.
