ERNAKULAM: Actor, director and screenwriter Sreenivasan was put on a ventilator. The hospital officials said that Sreenivasan, who is in the intensive care unit, has shown slight improvement in his condition and is responding to medication. He was admitted to a private hospital in Angamaly a week ago due to a heart related diseases.

He underwent bypass surgery last Thursday after an angiogram revealed a blockage in his blood flow. He was put on a ventilator for three days after the operation and was removed from the ventilator, later he developed an infection. As a result, he was again put on ventilator.
