LUCKNOW: Yogi Adityanath on Friday took oath for the second consecutive term as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The swearing-in ceremony was held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Yogi Adityanath was re-elected unopposed as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh by a meeting of MLAs attended by BJP national president Amit Shah.
Amit Shah and JP Nadda also attended the function at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana cricket stadium in Lucknow. Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath of office.
Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak will be the Deputy Chief Ministers in Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet. In addition to these, there will be 50 ministers.
