KYIV: The Russian invasion in Ukraine continues for the ninth day in a row. Reports suggest that Russian troops have attacked Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya nuclear plant, one of the largest nuclear plants in Europe. Eyewitnesses said that they saw fire and smoke coming out from the plant.

Russian troops have encircled the nuclear plant. Zaporizhzhya is the second largest nuclear plant in Europe. 22 people were killed in the air attacks in Chernihiv. Two schools and some private buildings were shattered in the attack. Meantime, Ukraine troops claimed that they have destroyed a cruise missile targeting Kyiv.

As of now, 9,000 Russian soldiers have been killed, claimed Ukraine. However, Russia had revealed that 498 Russian soldiers were killed. A Russian Major General was also killed in Ukraine along with 2,870 Ukraine soldiers, informed Russia.

The war is moving towards the largest refugee crisis of the century. The number of refugees has crossed 10 lakhs within last week. If the exodus continues at this rate, around 40 lakh people would leave Ukraine soon, warned the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
