THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: NCP probe commission has given a clean chit to Minister AK Saseendran in the alleged intervention to settle a abuse case. The probe commission found that local issues within the party had led to the complaint.
According to the report, Saseendran was implicated in the case by NCP state committee member Pradeep Kumar, who allegedly made the minister call woman’s father.
NCP trade union leader Rajeev post on the party’s WhatsApp group prompted the woman to file a complaint. There is politics behind the complaint. However, the probe commission found that the party leadership did not take the woman’s complaint seriously.
Meanwhile, the police have not yet recorded the statement of the complainant in the case of sexual harassment in which Minister Saseendran intervened. The police team reached the house and returned saying that the girl was not there. Meanwhile, the woman criticized the Chief Minister for his decision to protect the accused minister.
