NEW DELHI: The Union Ministry of Health has made it clear that anyone over the age of 18 in the country will be eligible for vaccination even if they are not registered on the CoWin portal. People can get inoculated by registering directly at the nearest vaccine center.
Earlier, the central government had made it clear in the new vaccine policy that those who are not pre-registered can also get vaccinated depending on the availability of the vaccine in the states. The explanation comes as villagers in northern India and Tamil Nadu appear to be hesitating to take the vaccine.
