Changanssery: NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair said that the article written by CPM state secretary A Vijayaraghavan does not deserve a reply. The statement on the election day was not anything related to politics, religion or community. It was the chief minister who gave it religious colours. I react on this in order to inform the public about the truth, Sukumaran Nair said.

Pointing out that the CM mentioned about the Lord Ayyappa on election day, Sukumaran Nair said CPM need not advise NSS indirectly. NSS is maintaining the same type of friendship with all organizations including RSS, he added.

Earlier, A Vijayaraghavan had written an article on the party mouthpiece criticizing NSS general secretary Sukumaran Nair. He stated in the article that Sukumaran Nair’s remarks during the election was anti-LDF politics and this will not be accepted by the community which he claims to represent.
