In the Men’s Singles event at the ATP Chennai Open Tennis Tournament, Yuki Bhambri lost his quarterfinal match against fifth seed Canadian Vasek Pospisil 3-6, 3-6 on Friday night.

Pospisil will now fight it out with top seed Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, who defeated Slovakian Aljaz Bedene 6-2, 6-1 to move to the semifinals. Earlier, the wild card Indian pair of Ramkumar Ramanathan and N Sriram Balaji lost to the Croatian team of Marin Draganja and Mate Pavic 3-6, 3-6 in the quarterfinals.
