NEW DELHI: A woman and her son have been arrested for allegedly killing her husband and chopping the body into 22 pieces and keeping it in a fridge. This incident is similar to the Shraddha Walkar murder case. The woman and her son were arrested by the Delhi crime branch Monday morning from Pandav Nagar in Delhi. The two were arrested after finding the head and some other body parts at Ramlila Ground in Delhi last June.

The dead has been identified as Anjan Das. His wife Poonam and son Deepak murdered him. The two then chopped his body into 22 pieces and then disposed of it at different places in Delhi. Poonam told police that Das’ illicit relationship was the reason for the murder.

The police have got the visuals of the two disposing of the body parts. The fridge used for stacking the body parts has been taken into custody from their house in Pandav Nagar.
