KANNUR: A woman was found dead with her throat slit in Panoor. She has been identified as Vishnupriya (23) of Panoor Vallayi Kannachan Kandi House. The body was found in the bedroom with her throat slit. The incident happened before 12 noon.

She was alone in the house at the time of the incident. As one death was reported near her house, her parents and neighbours had gone there. When her parents returned home in the noon, found her lying dead.

There are signs of seizures in the bedroom. The body was found seriously injured. A local person said that he saw a masked man near her house. The police are examining the CCTV visuals. Vishnupriya was an employee of a private lab in Kannur.
