THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) will question Shaj Kiran and Ibrahim based on the audio clips released by Swapna Suresh, the accused in the gold smuggling case. A notice will be issued to the two in this regard tomorrow.Shaj Kiran is being questioned on the basis of the complaint lodged to state police chief Anil Kant last Saturday. The complaint requested to check if the audio clips released by Swapna is authentic and that an attempt was made to involve them in the conspiracy. Shaj Kiran had said that the audio released by Swapna Suresh was an edited one. He said the voice is his own. He said the audio is a compilation of what he said when visited her at the HRDS a month ago and his words spoken many times. The audio should be sent for an examination.
