Jayarajan to narrate his ‘version’ at CPM Central Committee; to reveal future plans later

Thiruvananthapuram: After being removed from his role as the convenor of the Left Democratic Front (LDF), CPM leader E.P. Jayarajan has remained silent, hinting at a decisive move. As a member of the Central Committee, Jayarajan is considering presenting his stance at the upcoming meeting. He has reportedly informed close associates that he will announce his ‘future actions’ publicly only after consulting the Central Committee.

Jayarajan has firmly decided not to discuss the party’s decision with the media. He is reportedly not even answering phone calls. At the recently concluded state secretariat meeting, he expressed that if this is the party’s decision, he might as well end his political career. Subsequently, Jayarajan vacated the flat provided by the party in Thiruvananthapuram overnight and returned to Kannur.

When questioned by Kannur district secretary M.V. Jayarajan about the reasons for his removal from the convenor position, there was no clear explanation given at the state committee meeting. Many state committee members have attempted to speak with Jayarajan, but he has not shared anything regarding his future. Despite suggestions to stay in public life, Jayarajan responded with a smile, implying he is not persuaded.Jayarajan believes the ambiguous move against him before the party conference reflects a lack of transparency and does not stem from any internal discussions. He views this as a rejection of his political credibility by the party and plans to address these concerns with the Central Committee.
