Manipur: In Manipur, normal life has been badly affected by the 48-hour bandh in Naga inhabited areas of Manipur.

The bandh is called by the United Naga Council from last midnight demanding alternative arrangement of administration for the Naga inhabited areas of the state.

Business establishments including shops and markets remained closed during the bandh in the four hill districts of Senapati, Tamenglong, Chandel and Ukhrul.

Passenger vehicle services also remained off the road in the districts. However, there is no report of any untoward incident so far in the four hill districts during the bandh.
