The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 42 points, or 0.2 percent, to close at 20,725, today, on profit-booking by investors, ahead of the Reserve bank’s policy review, next week. Earlier during the session, the Sensex had crossed the 21,000-mark after a gap of nearly three years.
The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 14 points, or 0.2 percent, to 6,164. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
