Thrissur: The police officials who leaked the details of Kodakara black money case to the accused are likely to face disciplinary action. It is alleged that two officials of the investigation team leaked the information of the raid.
The probe team had gone for raid in Kozhikode and Kannur districts the other day. They stayed there for three days and carried out raid. However, they failed to trace any money or gold. Following this, they initiated a probe and found out that two officials had leaked the information of raid.
The police officials in the probe team leaked the matter to the officials in Kasaragod and they passed the information to the assistants of the accused, as per reports. These two officials will be removed from the probe team and action will be taken against them, it is learnt.
