THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Revenue Department has ordered the cancellation of 530 Raveendran pattayams (title deeds) issued illegally. The order was issued by the Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department. The move comes after four years of examination.

The title deeds were issued by MI Raveendran, who had served as the Deputy Tehsildar of Devikulam in 1999. Title deeds issued in nine villages of Devikulam panchayath will be cancelled. The district collector has been directed to complete the process within 45 days.
