Ministry warns against sale of illegal bodybuilding drugs

Kuwait city: The Ministry of Health intends to increase the supply of medicines in hospitals and health centers by 100 percent media reports said.Sources explained the ministry took this step to ensure ample supply of medicines in the health institutions, particularly those required in certain treatment procedures, after some hospitals and health centers reported shortage in medicines.

The ministry has instructed the Medical Stores Department to supply the necessary quantity of medicines as soon as possible to cover the shortage. Sources affirmed Health Minister Dr Ali Al-Obeidi is keen on providing the best health services to the public.

On the other hand, Director of Public Relations and Media at the ministry Faisal Al-Dosari confirmed the visit of internationally-renowned doctors this month to personally look into the condition of some patients and conduct complicated surgeries in collaboration with the Kuwaiti medical teams.

He disclosed this visit is part of the ministry’s commitment to enhance the skills of local medical practitioners, especially the latest treatment methods like the medulla transplant, foot and hand surgeries, allergy, and liver tumors, among others. He added the patients and their relatives will greatly benefit from the expertise of foreign medical specialists from abroad, instead of undergoing treatment in other countries.
